Hi, I’m Rochelle.

My approach to portraiture is deeply observant.

I don’t ask you to perform; instead, I create a space where you can simply be, allowing your natural connections and relationships to guide the images. What emerges are photographs that feel honest and alive with the texture of your life.

Working primarily with 35mm film is an extension of this approach. The slower pace encourages me to look carefully, respond intuitively and trust what unfolds in front of me. Rather than chasing perfection, I am interested in presence, the fleeting gestures, expressions and moments of connection that give a photograph its emotional resonance. Film allows me to work with intention, creating images that feel both timeless and honest.

Motherhood Session

  • A relaxed session designed to capture the intimacy of everyday motherhood. Perfect for pregnant women or mothers with children wanting an honest and artful record of this moment in time. I’ll guide you with ease- letting natural interactions unfold while noticing the small, meaningful gestures that make your story yours. The result is a curated collection of images that feel warm, intimate, and true to life.

Family Session

  • A spacious and relaxed session that allows your family’s natural rhythm to unfold. We move between moments of stillness and play, following the light and energy of the day to create a rich, story-driven collection of images. Ideal for capturing newborn and intimate family sessions.

    • 90 minuet session (home, nature, or urban setting)

    • 35 + film scans & high-resolution digital images (via digital download)

    • Private online gallery for viewing & sharing + print shop access

    • Extended family members are welcome to join your session for an additional fee of $50 per person

  • A two-part series that documents your journey from pregnancy to those first tender weeks. Thoughtfully curated to create a cohesive body of work- two chapters of the same story.

    • Pregnancy Session (1 hr)
      Capturing the tenderness, anticipation, and unfolding story of early motherhood

    • Newborn Session (90 mins)
      Gentle, unhurried in-home session during baby’s first 6 weeks

She was so patient and understanding in accomodating the baby’s needs, not stressing about any delays and even adjusted her arrival time after a nap! The turnaround for our gallery was so quick and we were thrilled with the final edit - she is so talented! Thank you for capturing some special family moments we can cherish forever.
